Delaney regularly coaches underrepresented entry-level and mid-career professionals, particularly those who are disabled, to help them take control of their careers and make an impact at their companies and in their industries.  She also helps experienced executives transition into a new career in product management.

For startups, nonprofits  and other companies, Delaney also works as a consultant for those entities looking to transition to or maximize their product-led organization.

To help you propel your career forward, Delaney has developed templates, guides and workflow sheets that you can download.

Stuck in your career?

You studied hard, researched the companies you were most interested in, and managed to land that first entry-level job. And despite the fact that you work hard and have gotten good, even great, reviews from your boss and colleagues, three years later you still are in the same role you started with. Sometimes it feels that getting a promotion or securing a higher role at a different company is even harder than getting that first job out of high school or college.

It is even harder for professionals who for a variety of reasons don’t conform to a HR executive or hiring manager’s perception of the ideal candidate for the open position.  Leadership roles, particularly in the tech sector, are still largely dominated by white-able-bodied men from upper-middle-class or wealthy households. And while more U.S. women than men are attending and graduating from college, women still make up just 15% of the Fortune 1000 CEOs, and 30% of all CEOs nationwide. Among both male and female CEOs, 82.5%  are white.

If you seek a roadmap on how to transition into management roles, strategies for career advancement and promotion, and techniques for demonstrating effective leadership, especially for young professionals, or want to know how you can transition from your current role into product management, even if you have no experience in that field, I offer a variety of resources and online coaching packages.

Startups, companies, and nonprofits new to product management can also reach out for consulting services, leveraging Delaney's experience in transitioning her association to a product-led organization.

“I don’t just embrace my uniqueness as a Black disabled woman in tech and Corporate America; I go beyond to celebrate it and all I’ve achieved while navigating life’s challenges with resilience and tenacity. Now, I want to empower others to take control of their destiny; to see beyond their limitations; and to achieve greatness against all odds.”
